Really 2011? I cannot believe that 2011 is here! That means this year we will have a 6, 4 and 2 year old! I am actually really excited for 2011 because I can feel some changes coming on.

Here is are family goals for the year:
-Family Home Evening every Monday
-Family Scriptures every night
-Family prayer every night
-Being more organized
-Eating healthier
-Less TV
-More active
-Spend less and save more
-Get out every other Saturday and do something fun as a family

These are the things that I hope we accomplish but may require a lot of prayer!:
-Leanna take the CPA exam and pass!
-Move to Oregon

Wishing you a Happy New Year! I love New Years because it is a time to set new goals. On that note I want to be better about blogging. It has been since 4th of July that I posted anything and so much has happened since then. We also bought a new camera for Christmas so we have been taking a lot of great pictures that I am excited to share. I hope everybody has a great year, I am excited for 2010!

4th of July

We had such a great 4th of July weekend. It started Friday night with great friends at a BBQ. The girls had so much fun swimming and eating. We then had a BBQ with family and neighbors at our house with again yummy all american food and fireworks. The girls had a great time watching fireworks. The bottom picture I love because Hanna is giving Dad the thumbs up on his firework display. I am so grateful to live in America and have the freedoms that we have. I could not have asked for a better way to spend 4th of July!

This summer has been a lot of fun so far but it has been challenging for me. I want to have a fun summer for the girls but being pregnant really makes simple things difficult like walking from the car with 2 kids and a bag full of stuff to the pool. After the short walk and getting settled I am ready to go home! Not to mention the 90 degree heat! I really should not complain because I am so grateful of how well this pregnancy has gone and that I can still get around and do fun things with the girls. The girls love the water park and Hanna finally will go under water! That is huge for her because a couple of years ago one little drop got on her face and she would have a breakdown. Hanna is doing better on her bike but fell over while on a bike ride with dad and did not want to ride her bike for while. So we got her a helmet and knee pads which has helped a little but she is still a little scared to go on bike rides. Ava is starting to talk a lot more, well I can understand her at least. They finally started playing together without fighting for at least half hour increments which is a break through. They still fight but at least I can clean or cook now without constantly breaking up fights. I love the pic of them in the hammock because they thought it was so much fun and were not fighting! Little moments like these make all the bickering worth it!

It has been a while......again! So here is a picture of Hanna's first date. Hanna and Craig had a date night, they went out for pizza and then went to a dance at our church. She was very excited to have time alone with Daddy. The other picture is of Ava's pig tails. I was so excited to finally be able to put her hair in pig tails and she actually left them in most of the day. She is growing too fast!

So again I have been a slacker and not updating our blog like I should. Well here are some pics from our mini vacation at the beach in Oregon. We stayed at a cute little place in Seaside on the beach. It was weird not having anything to do and basically relaxing for 2 days straight. The girls stayed with Craig's parents and had a blast. Of course Hanna did not want to come home and cried most of the way home....6 hours! We are doing great just getting excited for baby #3!

We found out this week that we are having another girl! We are excited to have another princess. I am so grateful for my girls. Sometimes I complain because they can be so emotional and sensitive but I honestly would not want it any other way. Here are some pics of my little princesses. Don't you love Hanna's 80's hair. So I thought Rebecca's tag would be fun. Here are the rules:go to your picture file and open the 6th file and the 6th picture. Then you are supposed to tell the story behind it. So I cheated a little....I skipped to the 7th picture because you probably did not want to see the 6th! But here is the picture of Hanna being born. I LOVE this photo. Craig did such a good job in being support to me and then taking awesome pictures....I do not know how he did it. Hanna was born May 28, 2005. My labor started at about 3 am and then around noon I was ready to start pushing. I pushed for 3 hours!!! My Dr said that my pelvis was too narrow and that we would have to have a c-section. I was devastated. I really wanted to have a regular delivery but all in all I was grateful that we were both healthy. So here is she is after 12 hours of labor. So now I am supposed to tag 6 people so I tag Heather and Andy, Clara and Kyle, Kerstin, Tiffanie & Danielle. Only if you want!

A day at the park.......finally!

On Monday the weather was great!! It was 65 degrees and I am finally feeling better so we went to the park for the first time in what seems to be a very long time. We had a great time. I think we were all just happy to be outside again. We cannot wait until the summer time. Now we are back to cold temps but at least we had one good day of beautiful weather.

So I have not been keeping up with updating our blog. I feel like life is just flying by right now and I hardly have any free time. I will post some pictures soon but just wanted to give an update of how we are doing. I think mostly everyone knows by now but for those who do not I am pregnant. I am due August 30. We find out what we are having on March 25! This pregnancy has been a lot harder than it was with the girls so maybe...a boy? Who knows or maybe it is just age. It has been difficult trying to not let it affect me because for a while I was wearing so many hats. Craig was laid off from work after the New Year which was when we found out I was pregnant. After a couple of weeks we realized that this may be more long term than we thought. The economy got worse and worse so I decided that I should try and work some more to try and compensate so I was able to pick up three more clients for tax preparation and accounting. I just have to say we have really been blessed. We have never gone without and it seems like when we face a trial it brings us closer and we receive blessing after blessing. This scary time of our economy has been a great eye opener for us and I am actually grateful that we experienced the importance of being prepared. We were not 100% prepared but like I said we did not go without and we always had money to pay our bills. Craig is finally back at work!!! One of his old bosses called and said he could really use his help. I think I got to used to having him though, no running to the store by myself or mid day power naps. Oh well having him at work is much better, he is not cut out to be a stay at home parent! The girls are doing great. Everyday Hanna will ask me is it summer time yet? I do not blame her I am getting cabin fever myself. Ava is changing so much she has a very strong personality but is really goofy. She loves to go outside, she will bring me her shoes and sweater about 10 times a day meaning it is time to go outside. So anyways I am going to try and get better at posting and reading all of your blogs. I felt so unconnected because I have not had time to do either. Hope everyone is doing well!

Bath Time

Here are some fun bath pictures of the girls. As they are both getting older they have been enjoying each other more. They still have their bicker matches but they seem to play and have more and more. Today Hanna wanted to watch a movie and Ava climbed up in her chair to sit with her. They sat together for a little while until Ava got bored but it was so nice to not have them fight over the chair. As a mother it just made my day because I always hope that they will be close. It is fun to see their relationship blossom.

Sorry this is about 2 weeks late! I have not been feeling well lately and all my spare time goes to sleeping.....which is not very much. So I have some great pictures that I need to post. Hanna is now in the Sunbeam class at church and she was so excited to go with the big kids. She still needs to adjust to not having snack time and play time but she loves the singing and "going to class" part of it. I cannot believe how fast she is growing!

Christmas

We had a great white Christmas at home this year. It was pretty quiet and relaxing even though we were up at 6:30 Christmas morning!. Hanna could not wait any longer! Hanna got her princess vanity along with many accessories. Ava got some great toys but was more into the paper. However she did get a stuffed dog from dad that she loves. Everytime she sees it she starts to laugh, even when she is crying. We just ask her where her doggy is and she will start to giggle....it is too cute. We are so grateful this Christmas for all that we have and even more important all of our family and friends.

Princess Party

I know I have said this before but it seems like Ava is growing too fast. She started to walk right before her birthday and is walking a ton now. It is amazing to see her personality come out a little more. I think she is going to be more like Craig except with my stubbornness. She is so curious on how things work and into piratically everything. Hanna was never like that so it is interesting to see how different they are. The already bicker which has been real fun for me! Ava likes her space and any time Hanna comes near her she screams and tries to get away. Hanna has caught on to it and now antagonizes her until she throws a fit. It is lovely! Overall they enjoy each other's company but they are sisters what can I say.

Last Saturday was so nice. We enjoyed the little snow that we got. Well Hanna probably enjoyed it the most as you can see. I just love this time of year. It is fun to see Hanna get so excited over little things!

Disney on Ice

We had such a good time at Disney on Ice. We were a little disappointed they canceled the show we bought tickets for. They were not giving refunds so we had to go to the Sunday show. Hanna was really excited about the princesses she got to see. Ava was not sure about the whole thing, one minute she was clapping and bouncing up and down the next minute she was crying. We will defiantly do it again.

Here are pictures of our fun Halloween night. Gotta love this picture of our nephew Dreyson. Hanna had a lot fun but was a little scared of some houses that had scary decorations. It didn't help that her Uncle Blake would make scary noises to try and scare her. The weather was so nice, we were in short sleeves. We could not of asked for a better Halloween!

Carving Pumpkins

We carved pumpkins last Monday. For the first time Hanna touched the guts of the pumpkin. I love the fall time, there are so many fun things to do!

Hanna's Dance Class

We have taken a break from gymnastics to try dance. It is a ballet/hip hop dance class. So far she is really enjoying it. She shows me her ballerina positions at home.

She watches her princess movies and she always acts like she is dancing with a prince at home so I thought she would enjoy this.

Tearing down the garden

Since we had really low temperatures last week everything in our garden died. So we had fun picking all of the green tomatoes and playing with them. Hanna had a great idea of putting them on the trampoline and jumping over them. Ava on the other hand had another idea. She was trying so hard to eat them! She puts everything in her mouth! The bottom picture is of her chowing down on the rocks! She likes to suck on them. Sometimes I do not even know when she has one in her mouth until she spits it out.

Ava is growing up!

I just realized today that Ava is getting big and before I know it she is going to be as big as her sister. She has two bottom teeth now and maybe more on the way by the way she has been acting lately. I can put her hair in a little pony tail now on the top of her head! She also is having fun walking with her little walker. Hanna gets so excited to see her walking. I think she cannot wait to have a little playmate. Ava is has been a Mama's girl which is nice for snuggling but not for trying to get anything done. She has truly been a blessing to our family.

Hanna's First Day of Preschool

Here is Hanna's first day of preschool. Some friends of mine from church have started a mother's preschool so each parent has a week to teach. She goes twice a week for 2 hours. She absolutely loves it!

Last day in California

This was our last day in California. We went to Pismo Beach with my bestfriend Jenny and her daughter Teagan. We had the best clam chowder that we have ever tasted and Craig bought a kite to fly at the beach with the girls. I could not of asked for a better way to end a great trip.

Visiting Family

After San Diego we went and visited my Dad and Mom in Ventura. We took the girls to a little carousel that I used to ride when I was a little girl and to the beach. Hanna loved the beach. We stayed in a hotel that was right on the beach that I have always wanted to stay at. It was nice because we were able to celeberate Craig's and I 5th wedding anniversary while we were there, I couldn't of thought a better way to spend it.

San Diego Zoo

Here was our last day in San Diego at the zoo. By the last day we were a bit animaled out. We had a great time and I cannot wait to bring back the girls when Ava is older.

Wild Animal Park

Here are a few picks from the Wild Animal Park. It was really cool because the animals were pretty active, more so than they are at the zoo. Our favorite was the gorillas. They were playing and chasing eachother around. It was a good workout , we did a lot of uphill walking pushing a double stroller!

Sea World

We have been so busy these last few weeks that I have not had a chance to update our blog. We went to San Diego to take the girls to Sea World, the Zoo and the Wild Animal Park. Hanna had so much fun at Sea World. Out of all that we did I think this was her favorite. She still sleeps with her Shamu that she got there.

Happy Birthday Craig and Corey......the big 30! We had a great time at their suprise party. Nancy and I tried the best we could to keep it a secret but they were starting to catch onto something. It is not easy planning a suprise party for two people! We had a great time. There were probably as many kids as adults so it was fun!

Oregon Trip

We went to Oregon for 6 days. We had a great time. It was Dreyson's 1st b-day and the girls and I stayed to hang out with grandma and grandpa. We took the girls to this really cute farm. They had a bunch of animals, a house full of nuts and a Noah's ark ship. It was such a nice trip.

Our Garden

So remember the garden Hanna and I planted earlier this year? Well here it is and it is out of control! I planted way too many squash and zucchini plants so they have been taking over the garden. We have a pumpkin though that I am really excited about. I really did not know what I was doing this year but next year hopefully I can figure it out a little better.

I cannot believe summer is almost over. All the kids are back in school and even worse the water park closed Aug 20th. The girls love going. Ava loves the water as you can see in the picture. Hanna has finally warmed up to the water this year. Her swimming lessons really helped. She also likes to pretend she is a mermaid!

Owyhee Reservoir

Here is a slide show from our camping trip at Owyhee Reservoir. We went with Corey and Nancy and Nancy's family. We had a great time, it was pretty hot but the water felt great. Fun Weekend

We went to go watch Corey in a wakeboard competition last weekend. It was pretty hot but we had a good time. Hanna had a great time in the water even though I forgot her bathing suit. One minute she was throwing rocks in the water and the next minute she is fully submerged in the lake! Oh well she had a blast.

Last month we were so busy having fun that we have not had a chance to update our blog. We went camping at Owyhee Reservoir, which I will post pictures soon. We have been having fun playing outside and going to the water park. Summer has been really fun so far, we cannot wait until Sea World in September!

Go, Diego, Go

I took Hanna today to the live perfomance of Go Diego. She had blast. We actually had seats next to her friend, Gracie, from church without even knowing. She was so excited when Diego came out she could not stop giggling. I think she has a little crush on Diego. Grandma Crum got her a Diego phone that has Diego's voice on it and he says Hola Hanna. The morning after she got it, I heard her in her room as soon as she got up, she got her phone and kept pressing the button. Everytime Diego says her name she giggles! She got her very own rescue pack too. What a day!

We got the girls a little Go Kart and Hanna is loving it. She has the need for speed that seems to run in the Crum blood. They look like pro's!

Dairy Days!

We went to Dairy Days last weekend. Hanna had so much fun riding her first rides and getting her face painted. It was in the 90's so we were dying but Hanna had so much fun. Poor Ava just watched and drank water! Maybe next year Ava!

Swim Lessons

Hanna started swim lessons and it is really funny because she does not like water in her face. She loves going but when the other kids splash she makes the funniest faces. Ava is getting so big. She can roll over back and forth. It looks like she will be getting some teeth any day now. She also discovered her voice and I think we have another screamer on our hands.

One of Hanna's favorite birthday presents was a necklace from the movie The Little Mermaid. It plays Ariels voice in a shell. Well Hanna has been really into singing lately and I heard her singing to her necklace. It was too funny!

Last week was so hot & nice we thought summer was here to stay. Ava went on the boat for the first time and loved it. Hanna got a new little pool to play in but now it is windy, cold, and rainy!!

So it finally feels like summer is officially here! We have had some fun playing outside. Hanna flew a kite for the first time and loved it! Notice in the picture of Craig teaching her how to fly her kite she has her shorts on backwards. She wants the strings in the back because it is her tail!

California Trip

Leanna and the girls went to California to visit family and friends. We had such a good time! Hanna had so much fun with my bestfriend Jenny's kids Teagan and Noah. Thank you everybody for your hospitality and flexibility with such a short trip. Especially to Jenny we had soooo much fun!

For the first time today it really felt like spring. It was about 60 degrees so we went to the park today to feed the ducks and play. I got this silly picture of Hanna with her trademark smile. Thought you might like it!

I just wanted to post a recent picture of Ava. I cannot believe that she is almost 5 months now! She slept through the night for the first time last night!! She is trying to roll over now and in no time she will be trying to keep up with her big sister. Hanna is such a good big sister, she is always giving her lots of luv and kisses. She has never been jealous of her...well at least not yet!

We are attempting to grow a garden this year....again. They always seem to fail since my thumb is definitely not green. So today Hanna and I planted some seeds to germinate and I took this picture of her. She has a really hard time smiling normal for the camera so she always either looks mad or has a cheesy smile.....like this one.

I am not really sure if I know what I am doing but we are going to give it a try. The Haydens have inspired us to keep up with the times so we will see how it goes. All is well in the Crum household! I will try and post some current pictures of the girls and hopefully a family picture this summer.
